SAFE International Launches Internet
Safety / CyberBullying Program April 20, 2010
Lunenburg, ON Canada, April 20, 2010 -- SAFE
International is the leading provider of self defense training in North America. SAFE International
has recently expanded into the U.S. market and has NOW launched their new Internet Safety /
CyberBullying Program as part of their Personal Protection Instruction curriculum.
The majority of self defense courses have included
how to deal with traditional bullying. In this age of the internet and all its benefits, there is a
negative side. CyberBullying has become a real form of bullying that very often accompanies what
most think of, when you say the word "Bullying".
Cyberbullying can take many forms including sending
texts, emails, and pictures that are hurtful, harrassing, and very often threatening. They can
cause mental damage that can never been seen like physical forms of abuse.
SAFE International can include this aspect of
personal safety in their courses for high school students, corporately or to individuals. The SAFE
International instructors will discuss the hazards of these different forms of Cyber Bullying along
with some solutions to prevent its harm to individuals.
Cyber Bullying is a reality in today's world of
personal protection. Most teens these days say their parents have no clue about their internet
habits and what they are up to in chat rooms or forums. Learn how to identify when someone may be
dangerous or how they will pick their potential victims. Learn what to do if you are threatened or
harrassed.
SAFE International likes to address all possible
aspects of personal safety and Cyber Bullying is just another program in the extensive offerings of
SAFE International.
