Self Defense Courses For Men
SAFE International teaches Israeli Style Self
Defense. We provide a no nonsense approach to personal safety. Our goal is to teach our students to
Recognize, React and Respond to any confrontation in the quickest possible time. This
is not a martial arts course, but rather a practical, effective and easy to learn style of personal
security.
All Courses Include:
How to deal with Personal Self Defense
emotionally, psychologically and physically.
How to avoid confrontation through verbal de-escalation / choice speech drills. Our discussion
includes the psychology of an attack and how to deal with it emotionally, psychologically and
physically. Most self defense courses ignore the first two aspects and just focus on the physical
side of self defense.Mental preparation for an attack is just as important as the physical attack
itself. The physical skills become easier to execute when the mental mind is prepared. This means
that you can have all the self defense knowledge in the world but if you don't have the mental
blueprints embedded, you will have no chance. You will learn how to develop these
blueprints.
Close Quarter Striking Tools
Learn how to identify the most vulnerable areas of the body and how to strike them in a quick, non
telegraphed manner. Discussion on how using a Passive Stance is one of your best tools to catch an
attacker off guard. We cover many devastating strikes such as eye rakes, palm strikes, elbows,
knees, kicks plus how to attack other vulnerable areas of the body.
Common Street Attacks
There are only a few primary attacks that are used in real life attacks. By preparing for those few
you are also prepared to handle the secondary attacks. Even then, we still cover all the possible
attacks which will include... chokes, punches, tackles, grabs, holds, plus how to handle things in
the event that they go to the ground. In more advanced sessions, The participants get to engage in
scenario based drills under controlled conditions. This gives students the opportunity to recreate
the emotions and aggressiveness of an attack in a safe, controlled environment.
Weapons
We address some of the most common weapons used and students get the opportunity to practice drills
to keep defensive techniques as simple as possible in order to ensure a quick avoidance or escape.
Some of the weapons that may be addressed are:
Knife attacks: lunging / upward stabs, ice pick, slashes, hold ups.
Other weapons covered are bats, bottles, guns.
